Apparently you're not allowed to sleep anymore if you're an air traffic controller. Well that just takes all the fun out of the job, doesn't it? Remember when they did that crack down on the pilots flying drunk? That's just awesome, isn't it? Drunk pilots trying to call sleeping air traffic controllers. And then you had the air traffic controller here in Ohio that broadcast the audio of the movie he was watching over the radio for something like 3 minutes. That's pretty funny. Could you imagine the look on his face when he realized that he was leaning on the mic button?
There's a lot of jobs that you can sort of screw up and screw around with, but being an air traffic controller isn't one of them, I wouldn't think. I'm sure it gets boring at night and they work weird hours but come on. Stop drinking beer with the pilots all day long and get some sleep before you go into work.
